Next Level Home Performance was founded in 1999 in Elk Grove, California as Elk Grove Remodeling & Construction. Michael C. Newsom, our founder, worked more than two decades in the trades before assembling his team of in‑house, dedicated professionals that today collectively offer the “Next Level Remodeling” experience.
Our first decade was spent designing and building custom homes and additions along with opening our kitchen and bathroom showroom in Old Town Elk Grove.
Our second decade brought us a desire to become building performance professionals with an emphasis on energy‑efficiency strategies. We worked closely with SMUD, Build It Green, and Energy Upgrade California to help shape many of today’s rebate and efficiency programs.
